Did you know that…
…Frontierland has been divided up in three parts, all with their own separate town names?
The majority of the land is composed of Thunder Mesa. It stretches out from the entrance towards Phantom Manor and past big Thunder Mountain to the point where you reach the sign that reads Cottonwood Creek.
Everything behind that sign is well, Cottonwood Creek (that sign I, for some bizar reason have never photographed, but it’s slightly before you get to Cowboy Cookout BBQ if you walk past Thunder).
You can get into that part directly by getting off the train at Frontierland Depot. You’ll know when you’re in Thunder Mesa when you pass the sign (the one that I did photograph).
The 3rd and tiniest part is Boot Hill, which is basically the graveyard (hence Boot Hill Cemetary) at the exit of Phantom Manor, which can be seen as an extension of the Manor or a walk-through attraction in it’s own right.
